I'm Curtis Kim, a practising lawyer based in Calgary. Over more than a decade of practice, I've learned that no two legal problems are quite alike, and neither are the people facing them. Most people who come to me are going through something difficult: a separation, a dispute over money they're owed, a job that ended badly, or planning for what happens to their family after they're gone. They don't need a lawyer who sees them as a file number. They need someone who will listen.
My practice is general by design. I've helped clients with family law, civil claims, employment matters, wills and estates and real estate. That breadth matters because it gives me perspective. I've helped people at many different stages of life, from starting a career to raising a family to planning for the future, and each experience has deepened my understanding of what clients are really facing. It also helps me give you practical advice that accounts for how one decision can affect other parts of your life.
